In terms of high-performance arrowhead fibers, my country’s existing production capacity still has shortcomings, which cannot meet the growing domestic demand, and the gap between supply and demand has also come about.

Looking at the world, the global usage of carbon fiber materials in 2022 exceeded 100,000 tons, and the usage in the field of “aviation” aircraft reached 38 R0 tons, and there is also a demand for 30 tons in the aerospace field. The main producing countries of carbon fiber are Japan, the United States, and Europe. Developed countries, such as South Korea, etc., these technologically advanced countries have firmly controlled the R&D technology and occupied a leading position in the global carbon fiber market through strategic layout.

In the future, with the advancement of domestic technology and the large-scale mass production of domestic high-performance carbon fibers, the situation of short supply in the market will be improved, and the price of carbon fiber materials will gradually stabilize. However, the full carbon fiber market still has a lot of room for growth. It is estimated that the total global demand in 20 years will exceed 420,000 tons, a substantial expansion of 4 times compared to 2020.
