Part 1: Building the Base of the Drone
1)Find a quadcopter design in a book or online for reference.
2)Make a frame for the drone out of metal, plastic, or wood. Most customers choose the carbon fiber material, (carbon fiber plate, carbon fiber tube and aluminum hardware)
3)Purchase motors, propellers and other electronics from a drone retailer.
4) Drill holes in the frame to support the motors. (carbon fiber cnc cutting)
5)Cut 4 .5 in (1.3 cm) rings from a 4 in (10 cm) carbon fiber pipe to make landing gear.
6)Stand the landing gear rings on their side and attach them with duct tape.
